Hi everyone, I'm new here and could really use some help.
I just had a babyy wearing expert at my house for 2 hours showing me how to use my sling. As soon as she left I put my baby in (it's a wrap) and within five minutes he was crying and flailing his limbs around. I tried bouncing, rocking, walking fast, all he did was scream louder. I put him back in his swing and he clamed right down.

My little guy is 10weeks old and used to love the sling when he was a newborn and put into the cradle hold. But for the past few weeks he has gone bezerk whenever I try it, which is why I called in the expert. I am such a believer in attatchment parenting and I hate just leaving my little guy in his swing, but it seems to be where he is happiest.

Could somebody please help??!!

My advice is to keep trying. Our son is now 4 months old. We have a number of carriers. Some days he can't be bothered with any of them. He went through a few weeks stretch where none of them made him happy. We stuff with it and found which carriers and positions soothed him the best. Good luck.

Hi Jozie,
Sounds like he doesn't like the cradle hold anymore. I would suggest to you to try another carry. :D You have to constantly figure out what carry your child likes, and sometimes it changes... My DS loved the Front Wrap Cross Carry at that age. (Now at 11 months, he is too busy and wants to walk, play and see what is going on!)
Also, as Jroon said, keep trying. Maybe he just didn't want to be carried right then, but he will another time.
Good luck and don't give up! Try it another day and try new carries until you find what works for both you and your little one!
