Hi all,
My friend says her baby doesn't like having his legs squished up. Any suggestions for a different type of hold for a large 2 mo. old in a ring sling?

Thanks!

I think you can do a tummy-to-tummy carry with a newborn in ring sling, can't you? That way he could have his feet out the bottom, like you would do with an older baby...but I have no experience with wearing newborns, so I guess I don't know for sure...help me out here, experienced newborn babywearers! :)

That's right, just keep knees above butt. :)

I hadn't thought about using that carry with my LO. She is almost 4 months but only weighs 9 1/2 pounds so it's like having a newborn. :) I usually use the cradle in my pouch sling with her. I have used it since she was about a month and half. I am going to try a moby wrap with her. I will let you know how that turns out. She still doesn't hold her head up good and so I am having to be careful trying what would work for a normal 4 month old. She was born a month early. But, we are making all kinds of progress that we weren't expecting until later! She is growing so fast! Guess I will just have to have another one. ;)
