i just signed up for a class on 9/19.

I am due with my first baby right around December 2nd.

I am bringing my sister and her 14 month old for a little practice

I actually give classes (just had one Wed evening) and they are a great opportunity to try out the carriers & see what you like. I show the 4 basic soft cloth carriers in my classes (pouch sling, ring sling, mei tai & wrap) and bring dolls to test then out.

I haven't yet because we're adopting but there is a store in Manhattan that gives classes on babywearing and cloth diapering. We will most likely take one. When we went in they allowed us to try on whatever wrap we wanted. Since I'm thinking about using the Mei Tai as my mainstay and because it'll be easiest for hubby, we only tried those on. Actually only hubby did but I was already convinced. These classes are all free at this store.

going to the class tomorrow afternoon.

excited to try a few different types and see what i like.

i have a ring sling and 2 hot slings now that i will bring to work with also.

how did the class go? did u learn anything new?
