this osnaburg fabric- good for hot climates or a gauze would be better (for a wrap) either one no sew????

Guaze would be cooler than osnaberg, but osnaberg will more comfy for longer. How heavy is your baby? For a little baby, I'd definitely say guaze for the summer. It usually dries quickly if you're at the pool/beach.

For now sew, you'd be better off with guaze I think. Osnaberg come 45 inches wide and you would want to cut that down which would leave a long line of fraying along the length. With a thin guaze you could get away with just leaving it wide.

Also, in my earlier post I said that I didn't care for the permanet press osnaberg - well, I've changed my mind. I love the pp. It's very soft and thin, but still just as suppotive as the non-pp. It's getting better with use.
